AGM - Vacant Positions and Nominations
Dear friends,
Our first Annual General Meeting:
WHEN: 8th of February 4 pm START
WHERE: North Brighton Community Garden (61 Bowker Street, North Brighton)
WHO: Meeting to be led by the chairperson, members and public welcome
As you will hopefully know, we will be having our first Annual General Meeting on the 8th of February at the garden.
After receiving some feedback on the time I have decided to hold the meeting in the evening (in the hopes that more people can make it). We will begin the meeting at 4 pm and aim to finish around 5 pm.

In keeping with our constitution, we have opened up most management positions, with the expectation of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson. These roles will continue to be held by myself and Beau Warren respectively, as we aim to continue the vision for North Brighton Community Garden and bring stability and consistency to the incoming new management group.
This means that you can apply for a position and increase your involvement in upholding the garden as a creative and positive space.
We know that this garden has already become a treasured space for so many, but for the garden to continue to grow as a beautiful and dynamic space we need wonderful and dedicated people to help this process evolve. Please consider nominating yourself (or approach someone who you think would work well in a particular role) and submit a nomination form by the 29th of January to me (Alex) via northbrightoncg@gmail.com
This meeting's agenda will include:
1. A brief note from the Chairperson informing of current finances, membership and a recap of the last ten months
2. Overview of the vacant management group positions, nominations and voting
3. Some ideas/potential events and projects moving forward
4. Short question time
